In Berserk, Griffith is a prominent leader whose authority is built on charisma, military success, and a strong belief in his own destined greatness. He commands a loyal fighting force and delivers extraordinary victories, largely by articulating a compelling long-term vision that his followers come to share.

 However, Griffith’s leadership is shaped by his conviction that his personal destiny justifies extraordinary sacrifice. While he operates much like any other military commander and does not unlawfully endanger his comrades, even his ordinary decisions are rooted in a belief in fate, his own superiority, and a lack of remorse in instrumentalizing those who follow him.

There is no food or breeding ground ahead, only ice and isolation. Social media has coined the term ""Nihilist Penguin"" to describe it. Some have described the behaviour as a “death march.”. Whether or not the penguin actually passed away is uncertain. While such behaviour is very uncommon, it is not entirely implausible

Ekko, a tech loving youth from Zaun, is a leader of a liberation movement in a dystopian world. Here, people live in twin cities of progress and exploitation, Piltover and Zaun. People of Piltover are privileged, holds administrative and governance power, while the people of Zaun are exploited and deprived of their human dignity. In this fight, Ekko has incurred many personal losses - like the death of loved ones who sacrificed their lives for the movement to succeed.
Owing to a turn of events, Ekko finds himself in an alternate timeline where there is no class based distinction, people of Zaun and Piltover are equal, and he is a progressing scientist living happily with his friends and love interest. But soon, Ekko realises that his original timeline still exists, and he is missing from their ongoing movement.
